Default about to purchase 1800

hi, there just about to go and test drive a 1968 1800s this weekend ,the car is advertised for 7000euro and is said to be in reasonable condition starts every time mechanically good, interior good .he said the over drive cant be used unless the cars been running for 15min does that sound like any thing i should be worried about.paint work good apart from a few blisters coming through.if i purchase this car i dont have luxury of a garage and was wondering what you guys thought about the practiclity of having a 1800s kept out side in kilkenny ,south east of ireland (will it last).

Hello and welcome to the forum.

I would use a car cover to try to protect it from the worst of the elements.

Coat the underside and box sections with waxoil.
