I have stuck rigidly to Shell V Power diesel for my cars. I'm a member of the Shell Driver's Club and get points every time I fill up. Every quarter I get a voucher for discount next time I fill up. Never had a problem with any of my Honda diesel engines, and hope the same with my new V60.
The reason I stick with the Shell is due to problems with Ford engines, some years ago, when they refused to accept claims for engine faults blaming them on poor diesel fuel. Having only ever used Shell, and with proof, I can refute any argument about poor fuel. |

I go to Shell and use standard diesel plus additive. I avoid supermarket fuel if possible.

[QUOTE=Zebster;2482229]How will you prove that the purchased fuel went into your V60?[/QUOTE
I only own one vehicle - the V60 - and I present my Shell card every time I buy fuel. If push comes to shove, it would be quite easy to compare the amount of fuel I have bought with the vehicle mileage. SHell will have a complete record of the amount of diesel I have purchased. |
