Wanted - Washer bottle cap, rear number plate lights...

As per title, wanted for my 245 a windscreen washer bottle cap and rear number plate lights.

I suggest you buy new number plate lamps from a Volvo dealer. I've just had two delivered and they are much better made than the old ones I am taking off. The new ones have a rubber seal to keep more of the weather out, and some additional plastic moulding to support the clips which also serve as electrical contacts.

My old ones will become available but they aren't worth having. The design is such that the clip eventually breaks. One is broken and the other can't last long.

Ring rufe on here for a Volvo dealer he is in Cardiff but does good discount for Volvo owners

On the box it says ... 3540331. A Volvo dealer should be able to get you any correct part if it is available, by checking your vehicle registration number.

Seek and ye find your nearest dealer. <smile> But any Volvo dealer is likely to supply to you by post. I usually buy from Lookers at Colchester. Just an old habit to buy from Lookers, but they give me a discount when I mention my membership of this forum.
