Has anyone else noticed the handsomely familiar lines of the car used in the trailer for the film HOP? Looks like an awful film, but I may go and see it JUST for the car.

Looks more 700 series from those shots - esp with the springy type bumper on the rear.

Maybe you have captured an incosistency in the film if they have been using a 200 up til this point?

Not really Film or TV, but it seems even the kool kids appreciate the finer points of Volvo's icon.

Warning! Contains strong language and rapping.

To be fair ..i aint that bright..I thought it was a 200 series..they are the only fleeting shots of the brick..my eyes are tuned for brick shapes..respect for the majorly important details..hj...ps I still love the chrome!!

BBC spy drama Smileys People (1982).
Bernard Hepton seen driving a late '70's mustard yellow 245 Estate round the streets of Berne in Switzerland whilst planning a sting operation on a Russian diplomat.

There's a 740SE used quite a bit in 'My Life In Film': http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBZ4heWvV5U#t=2m32s

There's a 780 shown briefly in this French music video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OKO3hLBW30#t=2m49

Didn't one of the baddies in "Frost" have a 240 Estate to carry a body? IIRC it was a schoolgirl that was murdered.
