Spotted yesterday on Wycliffe ITV3 18:55-20:00,titled the "TROJAN HORSE".
It was a white estate reg no TRL 433Y,it was used to kidnap a woman who was held for ransome but ended up being killed,She was put in the driving seat already dead and sent into a tree head on,,,OUCH.What a waste of car Lol!
Regards Brian.

Was the story line about the case being thrown out of court, because everyone knows a passenger would survive that accident in a 240!

Columbo voice* "just one more thing sir. The lady had her seatbelt on, she must have been dead already, that car's a brick!"

According to DVLA the red 245 in 'Jonathan Creek' hasn't been taxed or declared SORN since November 1999, so it must have been scrapped. It had a 2.0l engine BTW.

I seem to remember seeing a 740/940 estate in 'My Life In Film', by Kris Marshall. Also, Alan Davies' character drove a volvo estate (possibly a 740 IIRC) in 'The Good Housekeeping Guide'.

Default Away We Go

New Sam Mendes film, Away We Go, (released summer just gone) has plenty of footage of a 200 series - think it's a 240. Great road movie, by the way.

Check the trailer out...
