A440 New Member Last Online: Feb 10th, 2024 15:25 Join Date: Feb 2021 Location: Birmingham	V60 Throttle Body. My 'Check' engine light appeared the other day so had it checked for dodgy codes and P2101 and P1589 showed up - they're both linked to the throttle actuator control. The car still drives fine but makes a screeching sound when turned off suggesting stripped teeth on the actuator cogs due to build up of crud. It's a 2014 with 94k. Do any of you have any idea of probable cost to repair or supply/fit new parts I've contacted my 3 nearest Volvo dealers but none have replied with a price yet. 2 of them want 250 quid just to plug their code reader in and tell me what I already suspect! Anyone know/recommend a mobile mechanic Birmingham/Solihull area? Any info gratefully received. Thanks.
