Default Passenger door window has died

Passenger door window won't move, either from its own switch or the drivers. All other windows are fine. Worked perfectly but suddenly stopped.
Any ideas where to start looking?

TIA, Dave.

Hi

Same happened to me.
It was the window motor that had failed.

Best way to check is measure the voltage at the motor connector in the door. It should change when you operate the switch. If it does then its the motor.

I got a secondhand replacement motor and assembly for about £25. Getting the complete assembly makes it easier to change.

If it can be pushed down (don't try when you plan to use your car before getting the spare parts...), these things might be broken.
They were on mine, but that was the front window. I assume the rear window has the same parts.

When I press the switch I can hear a faint click from within the door, much like a relay sound?

If the motor is faulty (brushes?) there will be a DTC saved.

Hi

Mine went the same way. It was the brushes in the motor.

Suggest you fix it before it stops in the down position in this lovely cold weather!
