1998 S40 T4 - Immaculate, high spec, only 1 mature owner.

Hi all -

For sale is a one off, single owner, near prestine condition S40 T4 Phase 1.

My dad has decided to sell his lovely S40 T4 SE. It's in fabulous condition for the year.

It's a rare car because my dad ordered it brand new with both the Winter Pack and the Summer Pack, and the Information Centre Computer, the burr walnut trim, and the Volvo wooden sports steering wheel, crator alloys - etc. etc. etc. the list goes on.

He bought this car brand new and has cherished it since owning it. This T4 has had a very easy life it's fair to say. It's been serviced all its life by the local volvo main dealer's head mechanic - and the receipts are all present - a mountain of history.

No expense has been spared and you can tell this from the way it looks and drives.

Tax - End Oct 2012
2x almost new tyres on the front
2x very good tyres on the back 3 to 4mm left.
128K relaxed miles!
Cambelt done at 112K miles
New clutch fitted at 112k miles
Volvo computer system - comprehensive MPG calculator, outdoor temp etc.
Original volvo T4 Wooden steering wheel (very rare)
Part leather seats.
Electric sunroof - tilt and slide
Wipers just replaced.
Full Air Conditioning, works fine.
Full heated seats working fine.
Electric windows, mirrors etc.

There are a few age related marks around the car - a couple of very tiny supermarket car door dings less than 1cm in diameter, and a small scuff on the passenger rear side but it's harly noticable really.

In very cold weather I noticed a small squeek now and again from the rear suspension. Dad had it checked by our Volvo mechanic who told him it was a bush that was squeeking but it wasn't perished and therefore nothing to worry about.

The car is of course HPI clear and fully original - my dad hasn't ever crashed or mistreated the car.
