Well after buying two Orings from my local friendly Volvo garage I hurried back to the workshop to fit them. My god what a pigs ear of a job! You have to remove the two quick release connectors in the engine bay. Volvo decided to bury them deep into the firewall. Eventually I removed them. This gives you some movement on the metal pipes under the dashboard. My main problem was that you have to slightly bend the aluminum pipes to get the new Orings on. This causes slight miss alignment of the pipes when it comes to refitting them. No room to move and needing three hands meant I was there for nearly three hours fitting them! Aligning the pipes, pushing them together and trying to fit the clamp all at the same time. Nightmare. If it leaks again I am going to do the Ford thing and putting a rubber pipe sleeve on them.
