Default Recommend me a spare part supplier - track rod (inner/outer)

Afternoon all, had two garages try to adjust the track rods on the v70 to no success. Heated with MAP and penetrating spray. I think what they’re not doing is unbolting the TRE, locking the inner TRE bolt and using one as a lever against another.. will be trying this myself before biting the bullet and replacing them.

SiRobb and others have mentioned Lemforder which seem quite expensive and not easy to find. I’ve called Braydon who quoted £150 odd but do carry (probably Chinese) variations for around half that.

Be great to speak with someone before buying so I’m sure it’s the right part.. doesn’t feel like any play in the ones fitted so freeing them up would be the preferred route.

Having a parts supplier recommended in any case would be great, thank you in advance!

Hi I got mine from Mr auto.uk on ebay,
They did take almost 1 week as they are not in the uk as they make you think

The ones I took off are twr so I should have got those from a different seller,
but I did not know Mr auto.uk was not from the uk,
the parts are lemforder , but if you are in a hurry for them do not get from them, or autodoc.co.uk, as they are not in the uk also,
Dave

There's two kinds of racks and their rods are different.
OEM for early SMI racks up to 2003 are Lemförder inner and TRW outer, later ZF racks from 2004 are all Lemförder but different part numbers.
Crossover years 2003-2004 racks need to be verified.
