If it is a 2011 D3 that has been given a power increase to 163cp then it is still a D3. The D4 is a later model with 163cp as standard.

This is a small difference but it is a difference. The badge on the tailgate will still say D3.

Also, was the engine remapping done by Volvo? In other words, is it a Polestar upgrade?

Hello. It is manufactured in 02.2013 and on tailgate will still say D4! I posted the car link, you can see D4.

The "D4" sticker is easily changed by buying one from the internet, so not a definitive identity.
Go to the V60 page (one down from this) and ask "Mtilling volvo" for your VIN number to be checked?

Thank you. I posted the chassis series, but I'm afraid he can not see anything, the car is not from Uk, it's Germany ...

MY2011 D3 was 163PS as standard. It was detuned to 136PS only when they re-badged the original as a D4. Polestar upgrades were not available on the 2.0l 5 cylinder motors. (At least they never used to be!)

At the bottom of the B pillar there is a plate stating spec as well as engine output. A picture of that from the dealer will confirm what's what.

This should be the correct specifications and original pricelist for your model year. Yes, it's the UK version but I doubt it would be much different for Germany. It will give you an idea of what was standard for your car. But to work out if it has any extras you'll need to look at the photos on the dealer's website for clues!

It means there's text information for you to read on the display. In this case "The doors are open" LOL
