Default Xc90 leather seat cover removal?

Hi guys, ok so after some careful looking over my car I think I have a broken wire in my passenger seat that controls the DVD setup etc.

The problem I have is my 2011 xc90 d5 r design has the FULL RSE setup (DVD in arm rest, aux and digital tv) and the issue is sometimes the passage screen will not turn on however if I fold the seat down and back the system will reset and come back on, seems I have a broken wire.

Does anyone have or show me the procedure on VIDA on how to remove the wiring loom that goes from the screen to the plug under the seat please?

Looks like the seat has to come out but need to know if leather has to come off and if so how?

Picture for reference,

Ryan.

Seat covers are removed by

1. Remove seat from car
2. Place seat upside down on a clean work surface (use a tower or similar to prevent damaging the leather)
3. Remove the hog clips from under the seat, this releases the material
4. Slide the cover off, taking care that the headrest also comes off at the same time

Hi there, is this just a generic procedure?

Does my head rest come off at same time even though I have RSE?

What about the lumber support handle?

Is hog rings for the base or the rear seat cover?

That was a Generic description. The detailed VIDA process is below in blue. But you need the pictures too.

The part number for the cable loom in the seat is
Cable harness, with RSE, right 30635322 CH -248460
Cable harness, with RSE, left 8694945 CH -248460
Confirm with your car, I don't know your year or chassis number or RSE type.
The harness is cabled tied to the seat frame.

You can remove and unplug the headrests whilst in the car
1. Press the magic spot on the back of the front seat to release the headrest catches (see picture in VIDA)
2. Lift up gently to expose the connector
3. Unplug connector and remove headrest

As for removing the upholstry, here's the instructions from VIDA:

Harness, with RSE 1.00 30790584

That's what VIDA says the part refers to.

Don't need VIN.
You have MY2010, that's enough
PM me and I'll email the pic of the magic button locations
