Default Diesel fuels

I’m a new member, and was wondering what type diesel fuels people use in there CX60, I have friend who’s diesel scientist with Shell, says that when they have had Diesel engines on there test beds, some of the diesel fuel out there is sometimes not stored correctly we’re as the likes of Shell Esso, Texico fuels have actives added and are better for the engines. I was wondering what other members think.

I believe that if it meets EN590 then it'll be fine. After all, it all comes from the same refineries...
