Default spark plug electrode colour

Hi,

I've just replaced my plugs in the T4 with Volvo plugs.

The NGK PFR6B's that came out of it seemed to be a bit grey/white on the outer electrode.

Having dug out the Haynes, apparently this could mean lean mixture.

I only use super unleaded/optimax etc - is there anything I need to do to lean the mix up a bit....or am I worrying unnecessarily?

BTW, the NGK PFR6B plugs that I took out are identical in every way to the Volvo plugs, even down to the weird looking middle electrode.

Cheers
Jay
