Hi,
Sorry to have missed another run out but it was the toy run to Dundonald Hospital with the Ancestors motorcycle Club and I could not miss it. The run raised £2065 with a heap of toys and a good time was had by all.

If the next run is on 18th or 25th of Jan then I have a reasonable chance of attending.

Glad you had a good run any way.

Many thanks to Darren for arranging another good day out, shame the 244 spat the toys out, but at least we got her going again, kinda made it feel like a true car run lol

Food was excellent, and the bill was even better

Looking forward to the January meet, hope its not too far south

Nice pictures an Cars, too bad I couldn't go.I just sold my car last weekend as I am getting ready to move back to N.M.
If I am still here in January and the next meeting is not too far,I may be able to borrow my friend's 940.
Darren,I'll PM you some more details about that Go karting idea.
Michael.

If you Northern guys (and Southern off course welcome!) fancy getting together some evening over the holidays for a mini-meet'n'meal at the steakhouse it's pretty local for everybody. I guess it would be a bit like a fancy Jon44 do - right up your street then Andy!

Michal, if you have any more details that would be great. I think in this weather something sociable and warm is the best. Hey, the Karting place doesn't have an outdoor track by any chance!? We'll get something organised soon.

Neil, would you be up for a jaunt into the South for the next meet (pending your dates)?

Hi,
As petrol is comming down in price it would seem a shame not to have a long run out.
Yes I am up for a trip across the border.

Hi Darren,
Yes the kartng is outdoor,at least the one place I know, but there is one more and I believe its indoor, which would be more usefull in case of bad weather.I'll get some more info soon and let you know.

A social event, sure them J44 mupppets wouldnt know how to be socialable lol

Ir would be nice to be able to get down over the holidays, but i'm pretty well tied up between xmas and new year as the folks are up. Might be a better ideal just for a Jan meet, as i'm sure alot of folk like me have to make the Dec wage packet stretch out lol

Smile Count me in!

Hi Darren,

Sounds like a great idea ... I'd like to end the year as it began ( for me ) with a wee bit of a meeting. The 440 is still up to it's tricks, can be managed with a certain 'driving style' ( i.e: none ). The moral of the story is, don't anyone brake too fast lmao

I might have it sorted by then ( I think it's the coil ) but anyways for remote driving it's not a problem. I like the photo's of the diner place, looks nice and 'car themed'. Christmas can be soooooooooooooooooooooooo boring, so yup, into it for sure!

Regards,

Anthony.
