Default Scottish Mini Meet

Right then, who would be interested in attending a mini meet, nearer the end of the month, say the 26th November?. Would give me time to sort out a venue that is suitable for everyone.

I do realise that November, probably isn't the best time to hold a meet up in Scotland due to the weather, but it would be a start to getting more regular meets set up. Maybee having 2 or 3 venues used in rotation so that everyone travels the same distance.

Was kind of thinking along the lines of the Carvery @ Strathclyde Park,, have used this venue before and the grub is great, plus the indoor amusments at M&D's would keep the kids happy making it ideal for the family. or possibly the Salmon leap at Pitlochry?

Let me know what you think, or if you know of a better location, that you been before.

26th November sounds good to me, glad to see someone prepared to 'take the bull by the horns' and try to arrange something. I am up in Oban, but prepared to travel. Hope to be there, wherever 'there' may be !!

Mini meet details.

SUNDAY 26TH NOVEMBER @ THE CARVERY, STRATHCLYDE PARK HAMILTON 11AM

Hope this date and venue will suit, at least it's a start. Once were there, we can have a disscusion on regular future meets and see what everyone thinks.

Members and non members welcome. Why not come along and see what the club has to offer. And of course, members of VPCUK, are also very welcome to attend.

Hope to see you all there.

Anymore interested?

Looks like it should be a good turn out, for the first meet up in Scotland for a while.

Why not come along, enjoy a bit of a laugh, and of course have a good old natter about your Volvo, and what YOU want from the Scottish Section of the club and then go and get some grub.

Non - members will be made most welcome to attend and, if you know any other Volvo drivers, who are not on the forums, let them know about the meet too. I intend to do a regular write up for the magazine, for those without internet access.

Let's get the Scottish Section back on the map!!
