Default Lost 440 key/immobiliser issue

Iíve seen others here who had the same issue but i still canít solve it.

I lost the key and remote for my 440, I have bought replacements but canít disable the immobiliser to get the engine to start.

I have tried programming the remote but it doesnít work, I think you need to unlock the door with an existing remote to do this.

Iíve also tried finding the immobiliser and disconnecting it as others suggested but itís not under the glovebox lining or in the footwell.

I unplugged a few of the fuses connected to the immobiliser and the engine will now turn over when I turn the key, but it wonít start.

Someone else in another thread suggested connecting a wire across a relay in the glovebox to get it to start but I have no idea where this is without a photo.

If anyone has any ideas Iíd be hugely grateful, its so frustrating knowing Iíve got a perfectly working car that wonít start cos of the immobiliser.

Thanks

Btw I have found a mechanic who says he can fix it if I give him the ECU to reprogram. But he refuses to come out to the car so I don't know if I trust him, don't really feel like throwing away any more money.
