2.0t 2001 Rear 02 sensor
The rear lambda sensor on the above car has failed , causing the ECM warning light to show.
A replacement part is available on extended delivery from Volvo classic parts service at a cost of £198 + VAT. Can anyone recommend a pattern part supplier, or alternatively a good second hand spares supplier? Thanks in advance. |

Thanks
Thanks Clan for your response.
I have come to the same conclusion. Just wanted to check whether there was an alternative (cheaper) option, but don't want to spoil the car which has always had Volvo replacement parts fitted up to now. Regards |

Lamda o2 sensor
I agree its not a standard part - I used a second hand one from ebay (£20 I think) and its been fine for a couple of years. I was not prepared to pay almost £200 quid - but if you can afford it a new one it should give you peace of mind.
Having said that my one was obsolete anyway and they/volvo were offering the sport mode alternative They are easy enough to replace - and the part number is stamped on them. |
