Default seatbelt warning light, C30 MY 2007

Normally the seatbelt warning light goes out when I attach the driver's side seat belt.
Now it stays on until I attach the passenger side seatbelt as well.
So I now need to have two seatbelts attached, not just one.
Has anybody else had this problem?

Default Seat belt Light - Similar

Hi Andrew,
I've only had this happen to me when there has been some weight, not necessarily a large weight, sitting on the passenger seat, but heavy enough for the seat to think someone is sitting on it.
