1.9d EGR valve - working or not

Hi

Im after a 1.9 diesel (115bhp) egr valve. really doesnt matter if its working or dirty/faulty ag all. Ive got a master plan you see...

Its one to not use...

Difficult to explain... but if I can get one cheap enough and figure something out I will post an essay on it on the main forum...

Watch this space.. if what I have planned works, a few more people might be after old EGRs

By the way, Im after your 607miles to the tankful record...!!! So far Im at 305 miles to half a tank, or just under half a tank used... Ive got a 200 mile round trip to do this weekend coming

Not yet but am planning on doing it. Currently running with egr unplugged, eml light on but runs ok.

Yeah! I had that... but I ran the car over 50/60 miles without it coming on... its only after I booted it a bit, got black smoke out the back then left the car at a motorway services for 30 mins, it came on. Very odd. After my light came on I still drove it and it seemed fine but MPG dropped a little compared to the 58mpg I was getting before.

Hopefully Ill get to find out next week

Is the top of your engine sounding a bit rattly?

Still sounds the same, i turn my eml light of with my code reader but it comes back on after three start ups. Wished i was getting your mpg but then again got four poorly injectors, can't complain though she's done 185000 miles lol, hoping to pick up some injectors this weekend and get em fitted at some stage.

I got an address selling the EGR new for € 60.
