I've got a used one, the in tank pumps are a low pressure lift pump with the main pump under the floor on early 940s like yours.

I can sell the pump for £27.50 posted

Hello, thanks for responding, I am looking for a new one really, the one on my car is working but looking to replace as it's done 172,000 on what is probably the original pump, this is my daily driver and average 350 miles a week, so a used one is good to have around but would prefer new unless you know what kind of use it has had, kind regards Andy 🙂

From £11.57 + S&H :

https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...fuel+pump,6256

It's under £15 so you shouldn't pay Import Duty.

Now that's cheap! Might as well buy two and have a spare one.

If you buy two for that reason, get FedEx delivery as they pay the Customs Import Duty.

If it comes by post on a cheaper carrier and HMRC find it and charge Import Duty (two would be more than £15) then they send a card via Royal Mail, RM then charge £8 to collect the Duty so two at that price would be ~£23, Duty would be ~£4.60 plus the £8 collection fee from the RM so £12.60 total to be paid before they deliver.

For that reason it's often cheaper to do two separate orders.

It's still guaranteed though Mark. Given the amount Americans complain and sue people for the slightest things, i don't think Rock Auto would deliberately sell anything likely to cause themselves grief in that respect.
I've not had any trouble with the one i fitted from the same supplier which admittedly was a bit dearer because it wasn't on Wholesaler Closeout.

A fuel pressure regulator for mine is near enough extinct in this country and out of the few i did find, the price varied between £3-500 but it cost me £15 from Rock Auto plus S&H etc. All in, under £30 delivered.

Talking of fuel pumps, i might have to peruse Rock Auto for the main pressure pump soon, this one has developed a "wake-up squawk" when prompted from its sleep first start of the day.

You know me though Dave I always feel you should spend that bit more on crucial parts to save having to do ( a pretty difficult ) job twice. I know this pump isn't performing the same task as my cars single in tank pump but it does seem like a false economy.

My one bugbear is people selling their so called cherished and much loved vehicle that has a full service history, wanted for nothing...blah blah blah. On closer inspection it will have the cheapest ditch finder tyres you can buy Not only a false economy but also downright dangerous
