yes.

Thanks for advice, i will check coolant temperature sensor as well.

In case of FPR, i came up with this:

i will buy PR161. It has almost correct pressure 3.1bar (45psi) but only 1 gas hose connection. So i will join my 2 gas hoses with 3way joiner:

do you think it will work ?

I wsa kind of hopng you'd say it wasn't leaking, i always resent spending a lot of money on small components as they're not much to look at but have a lot of funds tied up in them!

That's pretty conclusive though, if it is leaking it will throw everything out.

Your idea will work but i would suggest using the leg of the T onto the FPR so the fuel rails join the top of the T. The new installation would more closely mimic the original that way as well. You may need to use an intermediate section on each side of the T as well if it's shorter than the present FPR between fuel unions, it looks as though the pipes are metal on the fuel rail so little or no flexibility. I know of someone who tried bending the fuel rail pipe and caused a leak so be careful if you try that approach.

Once fitted, reset the ECU with your fault code reader, it will have picked up and stored some very strange fuel trims as a result of the old FPR and this will throw everything out until it relearns them. You can reduce this learning time and how much everything is thrown out by resetting it.
You can also reset by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes or by pulling the memory fuse for the ECU, however i'm not sure which one it is for the 960 off the top of my head.

Thats better proposal, thanks ! no need to bend the hoses

just to be sure, you mean to rotate regulator horrizontaly 90degrees like this:

That's the one, yes. It should be possible to mount it so it keeps the original orientation that way and keeps the flow of fuel balanced too.

My plan was a bit too optimistic. I got that PR161 with just one input/output, but unfortunately there are two issues:
1) threading is for M14, old one is M15
2) connect both hoses with T joiner as i planned is not as easy. One gas hose (no. 7 on the picture) is metallic, so it cannot be bend or stretch where i need.

From: https://www.volvopartswebstore.com/s...roduct=1104179

I see it that option could be to lengthen that metallic hose with normal hose, which i can bend where i need. And also find proper reduction to smaller thread that regulator uses.
