Question air coming out of vent when accelerating

I have a v50 1.6 Diesel stop start 2012. Lately when I accelerate i can hear the turbo hissing louder than before and I can feel air coming out from the air vents (defrost screen vents) the more I put my foot down the more the air increases.
Anyone has a clue what the problem can be?

Regards,
MJ

Sounds as though you're loosing boost pressure. You'll need to inspect all associated hoses related to the turbo. If they're all intact you'll need to pressure test the intercooler.

Presumably, the more you put your foot down, the faster the car goes, so the air being drawn into the ventilation system will increase. That part sounds completely normal, but if it happens when you're not driving along, then there's something amiss.
