'S' is great for overtaking, and also on country roads if you need to get somewhere quickly. I would estimate that the revs tend to run about about 1000rpm higher than 'D' mode, and the gearbox changes down with only a verymodest push down on the accelrator. I wouldn't find it very relaxing (or very cheap!!) to drive in this mode all the time, but great to have.

I have ordered the xc60 awd d5 auto in r-design with various options such as winter pack on Jan 30th.

I have been informed it will be delivered on the29th March. I take it I will have the S option on the car.

Mine arrives that week too, cymro - and I'm informed that mine will, so can't see any reason why yours won't.

so, any info on the MY2012? I have placed my order with the dealer but they can't place the order with Volvo due to the change. Any news on what the changes are?

The dealer I spoke to yesterday told me that Volvo hadn't told them yet.

Yes that would make sense - think Monday 14th is when the changes are announced in UK.
