I have family who have and haven't done the same - both have seat kicking kids like mine. Guess which family wish they'd used the product.

The technician will take my wheels off, so I don't have to. That's why I don't need to do it myself.
Hahaha very true the clearcoat is not that strong overall in some respects.

It is not that hard to take a set of wheels off, even one at a time you probably are talking 10 -15 minutes a wheel.

I brought a set of wheels 7 years ago they are also diamond cut, I treated them with ACF-50 it comes in an aerosol can. Air forces and plane companies use it on their planes to stop corrosion. I apply it every year, spray some on a tissue and wipe it all over the wheel. Water runs off it, the salt washes off and no brake dust attaches, its great. You can also use it on black plastic to get out the grime and bring back the lustre. Ive tried waxes and the seem to attract the dirt. As for your seats I use Meguires Gold on my BMW, Ive had no problem with this product.
Not that difficult to clean up and decontaminate them. ACF-50 is a good product but using it on wheels not sure if it could ruin some of the gloss and shine?

Normal waxes on wheels is a bad idea but wax with PTFE is better or just stick to sealants.

Sadly I was made redundant the day I was to collect my new car.

That's terrible. I am sorry to hear that, life can be pretty harsh - especially in business.

Forgive me for asking, but what do you do for a living. My experience is that the very best jobs come from 'networking'. In fact, almost all good things in life can be enhanced by means of knowing good people who know other good people.

Maybe you are pretty clued up about the next big thing and you know exactly what you're going do do. But if not then 'network'. Cast your bread upon many waters, as they say.

Best wishes.

Thank you. I have already started exploring my network which, with over 30 years working experience, is more extensive than I realised.

I was in Major Account Management for an electronics manufacturer. I am not limiting myself to the same field.

Electronics isn't my thing - financial audit is the nature of our business. I am the Head of Human Resources & Organisational Development...erm, personnel then in most peoples' book!

So we're in completely different fields. But if you need any help with CVs, interviews etc. I'm your man Feel free to send me a private post if you think I can be of any use - that's a genuine offer but don't feel obliged, only if it would prove helpful.

I wish you & the family well.

David
