Default Recommend me some tyres??

Hi all I'm looking to change my tyres soon and just wondered what you guys have on your V50. I can't seem to find much. Everything I've seen has E for exonemy and only a few have C

Advice would be great. Cheers

Michelin Pilot Sport 4 or Uniroyal RainSport 3's - Only tyres I'd personally consider .

For summer I reallly liked GoodYear Efficient grip performance,I did not have them on my Volvo but had them on Mk1 (195/65 R15)and Mk2 (205/55 R16) Focuses.

Now on my Volvo I have 205/55 R16 Pirelli Cinturato winter, IMO very good winter tyre, unstudded so it is not mindblowing on bare ice but I have not had any problems or doubts while driving with them in snow.

For summer I did an experiment 😅, I bought a set of Sailun Attrezo Elite tyres 215/60 R16 (tried to get a bit more ride height and different look), actually I was pleasently surprised, ride became a bit more gentle on hard bumps, but did not seem to impact handling. They were something like a 1/4 to 1/3 cheaper than popular brand tyres, but work great on dry and very good on wet surfaces. Lets say if i did not know that car is on Sailuns, I would not say that its on chinese tyres. They seem to wear out a tiny bit faster, but difference in price compensates that.

ignore the Totally BS "ratings" on the tyres
why
they are what the Manuf puts on them, not regulated or to any standard

dont fall for the "winter/summer" tyre crap either

other than that "chian ditchfinders" avoid
Avoid paying for over priced "hyped" tyres
use Blackcircles, Camskills Mytyres for prices And check out "tesco for tyres"

Falken ze 914 on my S40 so far so good after 1 year.
Depends if you want cheap and poor handling or more expensive and better road holding.
Used Goodyear F1 Eagle on my Jaguar, great wet and dry grip but poor lasting,
Michelin would be my choice if money was no object.

Another vote for Uniroyal rainsport 3 from me.
I had a couple of sets on my V50 over the years I had it
And now I’m on a V70 I’m just waiting for it to need now boots and they
Will get fitted to that as well.
