Intermittent failure
Hi, Car will brake normally regularly but at times have to pump the peddle to build up pressure. On releasing pedal there is a suction sound giving impression that it is drawing air. Anyone had the same problem and what was the solution? Thanks John

~As above
Start by checking the bleed nipples are Closed Check Pad thickness Check DISK thickness *1mm per side is the wear limit for the disks , 25mm when brand new - 23mm replace) Check for fluid leaks Check that the Flexi RUBBER hoses to each calliper are not Split Bulging (get someone to put a foot on the pedal You check the hoses for expanding) Check brake fluid level Check Vac hoses , check for leaks on the master cylinder + brake fluid reservoir
