V40: Roof Bars

Hi all, I have a 2003 v40 sport lux with roof rails and genuine volvo bars mounted across.
During a highly interesting conversation we arrived at the point of carrying load limits...There seems to be internal suggestions on the weight regarding tyre pressures for a family of fatties with the boot full of chocolate bars etc but nothing to say what the maximum might be when loading onto the roof.

Does anyone have a definitive answer on what this might be?

As per V40 owners manual online the max load for genuine Volvo roof bars is 75kg
I guess if the bars are loaded to max this would be included in max kerb weight along with your large passengers and chocolate
Check up on Uk police cars as some french cars are only permitted to carry 3 officers due to overloading, too many donuts and body kit
