Only a few months ago there was a whole thread about this very very special and rare car! I think the going value for this in Sweden was around the £20K mark.....

PRACTICAL Performance
Car Mag don't do "paid for <or begged for> features" and also I think the fact that Tim has done all the hard work on the car HIMSELF, and hasn't outsourced the build (unlike some Really Terrible Mechanics), which makes it an even more impressive recognition IMHO

True enthusiasts car, in a true enthusiasts magazine - keeping with the spirit of a Practical Performance Volvo, and which would also be within the grasp of your normal enthusiast.

Here we go - better ones will be up after I've personally gotten a copy.

Well done Tim, and to think this build was done entirely by yourself and on your own driveway...

Only 5 years ago I got mocked by the PPC guys for talking about getting some Volvo features in the mag...now there have been several. I'm very glad things have changed, but I'm still going to enjoy my "I liked them before they were 'cool'" rant!

cheers

James
