Installed it over the weekend (seemed to take longer with a memory stick than SIM card). Unfortunately it doesn't include the massive changes to the A14 in Cambridgeshire yet. As it is only just over a month since the last update, I was hoping this was part of the reason for the update.

Digressing from the thread slightly, but how much of the A14 is now open? I will be driving down it on Thursday and have not used it since October. And more importantly, has it eased the congestion during rush hour? Thanks.

The section Non-stop from A1/A14 is complete at least to Cambridge Services (Swavesey), I think the rest of it is as well, but i try and avoid Cambridge myself.

Through county traffic has improved. It certainly hasn't helped local traffic, moving it away from local towns and villages has given local traffic no option other than using smaller local routes.

just a random one - when I went to download the UK maps, I got a message saying the update was too large and that I needed to go to the dealer. I tried with the car on my drive, connected to home wifi.

Any ideas?

Thanks. I also try to avoid, but driving from Stafford to Norwich doesn't give much option. The A47 through Kings Lynn is even slower!

Yes driving through Kings Lynn was a scenic distraction once, but not a commute I'd want to repeat too often

As I understand and did last time is to use a USB stick for the download and then pop it in the car and it automatically sees it and copies it to the car. I stopped mid copy and the car was happy to pick up where it left off.

Usually you get that message when the internet connection is to slow. This may be a bad connection to your home net but can also be the Volvo servers being overwhelmed. Try again in a day or so.

What always works is the full update over USB-Stick.
