Think they have the simlar engine to a 164? worth a look on you tube to see what they can do!! quite a piece of kit.... would love one...
The last one i ever saw was while i was at arper Adams in the mid 80's and one of the girls had one as here college car!!!

Interesting as, according to the Oldclassiccar website, these cars first appeared in 1954, but the B30 engine from the Volvo 164 didn't arrive until 1968.
I saw one a few years ago at a show with a B20 engine (2 litre) which struck me as being a bit puny for such a heavy vehicle. The 3 litre lump sounds a bit more lusty, but the question is - what engine did they use originally in 1954? |

TP21 inline side valve 6, 90bhp. 720 made. Main body is is based on the PV832 saloon. The Swedes often stuff a nice big American V8 in them. Way to go!
