Default Window regulator S80 - best drill for rivets?

This is NOT me or even anyone I know that has managed to do this - see the picture.
Both arms are on different levels - the cogwheel has jumped and this arm is bent beond fixing. So it needs to be changed.
I need to drill out the rivets and its a pain. I have the three left, through the front sheet - through the holes. Im afraid to screw it.....

What size and what type of drills do you guys use?
So I dont manage to drill loose the "plate", so the drill sticks to it or it chops into it. The other rivets are easier to chop out if that happens - but that cannot be done through the holes.
The only drills I have, that can reach through the first hole - are like 6-8 mm in diameter. But the rivet hole is what - 4,9 mm?
These are the drills I use normally: Heller HSS-Co

I've only drilled out 2 window regulators on US made cars. Selecting the correct size drill bit was just an eyeball.

I remembered I had these - see picture.
It worked as a charm to frind down the front so much that I could punch the rest out:

Know I have problem with the tool. My copressed air rivet tool has a handle that gets in the way.
So far I havent found any in Sweden that has long enough nouse - only pro tools costing too much. Most of the time the dont even know how long the nose is or what the diameter is.
Any tips on names of the tools so I could try to find them here in Europe?

An other problem I noticed after collecting the new window mechanism - see the pics again.
Also the picture for the rivets I have - 4,8 x 13 mm steel rivets.

Would you use it - or would you leave it back?? Its a bit driving to leave it....

I found this job a real pain but i think you can use a bigger drill to get rid of the head then knock it through. Hope that makes sense
