In the Spring I was not really in the mood for going anywhere! As for East Fortune, missing this was my own sad fault for not keeping up with events - it is less than 16 miles from home!! For me, Callander came under the heading of non-essential travel. This time I am making the effort to throw off the unemployment shadow and have a (quiet) day out. That this is an 'unoficial' gathering in no way reflects on the local organisers. I (and no doubt others) really do appreciate their efforts in organising things for us (often) thankless members. As for the next AGM, that will depend on circumstance. Come and shoot me down at Livingstone - it might be your only chance. :-) :-)
