Noticed after we've had the cold snap in the UK that my car is covered in the same white deposit stuff found clogging my wipers - the sh*t is everywhere! Almost looks like I've parked my car next to a bonfire!

Quite a bugger to get off too, been through a car wash and it hasn't shifted! Just been out with some waterless wash and a microfibre - you have to rub each spec to get it off!

Is it only the heated aquablade wipers that are having this problem, I have never had this with my normal wipers with heated nozzles.

Do you live in a hard water area?

My car gets covered and as you say it sets like concrete. Mine was worse during the hot summer. The worse parts were on the bonnet, coming from the headlamp washers.
