Default wiper blades

I too have replaced mine for Bosch Aero's which have been on the car for the last 3 years with no degradation however, I occasionally smear a light coating of silicone on them especially during the dryer months. I also put a small amount of vinegar and a splash of methylated spirit into the washer bottle topping upwith screen wash with Rain-ex added. Seems to work for me!

Yes, it's many years since I've actively chosen Valeo blades - moved across to Bosch years ago and don't think you can beat them. That said, my V90 is on the original factory blades and they seem to work well...I would presume that they're Valeo - shall have to take a close look in the daylight and see if I can see a manufacturer's mark.

Have just replaced the blades (only) on a set of Valeo aero wipers; they lasted all of 5 months.

The wipe quality is fantastic, at least as good as the valeo when they were new. (Ebay; ap motorsport I think for the blades/refills.)

Cost £4 instead of £30 and 10 mins of my time.

Just replaced front wipers on my v40 after a year from new
Volvo blades have not lasted as expected
Replaced with Bosch aero blades from Halfords slightly cheaper than Volvo
See how long they last hopefully more than a year

Just replaced from wipers. £9.95 from ebay and made by Alco of Germany. They do a good job.Even with our temps they last about 18 months.
