Default wheel load ratings

I am trying to find the load rating for the V40cc wheels, how do i work out the load rating from the markings on the wheel? or for volvo wheels in general.

Does that help?

Your car manual will also tell you the minimum recommended for your car model and engine.

Thanks for that, are the wheels themselves load rated? as you may know several of the volvo wheels are interchangeable with various ford models that have the same pcd, offset and centre bore etc, so i was wondering if there are any restrictions with load rating of the wheel.

Aftermarket wheels seem to be advertised as suitable for all cars just by adding a centreing ring to correct the difference in hub diameter.

Anyone got any ideas?

My understanding is that only commercial vehicle wheels (rather than just tyres) are load rated. But happy for someone else to correct me!
