Has Lukaz gone out of business or something?
He hasn't posted here since March and has replied to emails I sent over four weeks ago.

His web site is still up and it looks a lot better than it did a couple of months ago. Maybe he's just very busy?

Hi
I'm still alive and doing well. I was enjoying my holiday with family, but as far as I'm aware I'm still in business and I've tried to answer every single email I received over the time I was away. If I didn't or you have more queries please don't hesitate to email me directly or ring me on 07977660678 Thanks Lukas |

Thanks
I went to Lucasz this morning & gave him my V70 DIM. He repaired it, pluged it back in the car & reprogramed it getting rid of the fault codes. The DIM has now gone from completely blank to fully working.
Nice bloke Excellent repair Very reasonably cost. I would highly recomend him. |

Hi, just fitted the cluster about an hour ago and its still not working correctly. Had the car ticking over for roughly half hour and dash was fine, then sent out, restarted car, dash came on , once I started driving it went out after 2minutes, same symptoms. BUT switch caf off and wait 5mins dash comes back on. Then goes out again. So not fixed buddy. I really need this fixed as I now only have this car to get to work. Sent this message to your email and mobile number, Can you help pls. Steven

Dim/cluster problem solved!
After sending my cluster away to be repaired, the problem of it going off and indicators not working and power windows not working still, I investigated the whole wiring system, took out ECU and other control modules and refitting. Still cluster would not work correctly.
BUT then I had a thought and reminded myself if the clicking noise coming from power window switches when the cluster would switch off. So I then decided to removed the drivers door panel and take out every electrical connection, plugging one in at a time and trying to see if the cluster would come back on. It didn't until I reinserted them ALL back in. Namely the two connection to the power window unit........now everything works, dash/dim/cluster/indicators/power windows all work. Dim/cluster has stayed on since I reseated those power window connections. SK my advice is, RESEAT ALL CONNECTIONS. EVERY AND ALL THAT YOU CAN. |
