Default satnav update issues

Just updated the satnav software and maps on my 2013 v40 selux and lost the clock, heated seats and temp & fanspeed indication on the nav screen...any clues? I've spoken to the nav helpdesk in ? Denmark, but no help...told me to see dealer...

Press the Nav button a second time. It's a feature

Ok, Looks like I was wrong...

On the Nav display it's something like: OK->Settings->Map Options->Show Full Screen Map.

My first answer was based on the behaviour of the Nav in my XC60. After a quick check in SWMBO's new V40, seems they've changed it

Wish Volvo would show some consistency between models.

Had another look at the options today, and found your solution...I thought I was going barmy, couldn't understand why the nav screen was different from the radio and media screens..

Cheers..
