Yep, same thing. The trickle of water that came through left a white deposit, and the dealer said that it was silted up.

im getting a white dust deposits didn't think it could be the washer fluid, i assumed it was polish residue from when the dealer valeted the car despite me telling them not to.

Funnily enough I noticed some white powder specs around the edges of my screen when washing car and cleaning it, did not really think about it too much but was a little curious, but never looked further, I will again now though

I also noticed white powder all over the extreme edges of front windscreen and more on the A pillars (perhaps due to the sweeping motion of the blades). I noticed this powdery stuff after I used the wipers and washer fluid after it rained just few days after getting the car ceramic coated including the glass all around. I though it must have been due to some residue from the coating that was done few days ago. After reading the comments here, it appears that that white powdery stuff isn’t from the coating. However, the wiper blades are doing their job and didn’t notice anymore white stuff since.

From what I read, I wonder if could be talcum powder. It is used as a lubricant for rubber(y) materials.

Not sure the S90/V90 or XC90 has Aqua blades, these were introduced on the XC60. The S90 has the washer nozzles on the wiper arms, Aqua Blades have a water channel inside the actual wiper blade.
Correct me if I'm wrong

Having the jets fixed to the arms is a great idea and I find them to be excellent in operation. Last edited by nu11eaf; Aug 12th, 2018 at 17:09. |

Windscreen wiper blades on my XC90 easiest to change of any car I've had - wipers in service position, press the tab, slide the old blade out, slide the new one in until clicks in place - job done, start to finish max 3 minutes

The water is jetted through the blade it self, so completely different from a normal blade.

My V90 has washer jets in the arms. The blades are conventional. The wash/wipe works perfectly. The cynical part of my nature makes me wonder which blades will be the cheaper to replace , conventioonal or "aqua"
