When you say paying duties, what do you mean - does HMRC want you to pay duty on some old chip oil from the local chippy? At what rate, and how do you pay?

I've never heard of the need to pay duty in such circumstances and the whole notion is about to scupper my plans for my next car. Nuts.

Have a look here. This company is just up the road from me and they seem to have a kit that would be suitable for your car.
