got to be worth at least £2k surely? its obviously worth what somebody will pay for it, no harm in sticking it up for £3500 worst case is nobody buys it, then you get to keep it anyway.
If it was a Cortina in that condition it would be worth £6k its just the 144's seem to be a bit of a secret cool old classic that only clever people know about. GLWTS if you do decide to sell it. Dan

seriously though, I feel bad for maybe under-estimating....I hope you get a lot more than I suggested. maybe worth having a look at carsandclassics now and again, to see what the market's like unfortunately when it comes to classic pricing - the Amazons, PVs and P1800 seem to out-shine the 140/160 series - maybe because they were the first 'boxey' Volvo and collectors prefer the curvy lines of the older ones....???
