Indicator Blink 3-4 times instead of just once ?
Is this setting in the system somewhere, doable somehow, or not at all?

If you accidently hit the indicator stalk one way , instead of it barely giving a blink you get three full wrong flashes ...

It is not a function on a 2006 V70 . It was on all the V50 / S40 / C70 / C30 from 2004 and on the other new models from 2008

Are you sure? I have it on my V70 2006, specs in signature, i noticed it by accident, i always give one flash to head back to the left, i noticed it would do 2 or 3 and thought i must have caught the full on and knocked it off again without realising, that sort of thing, til it happened again, so i purposely gave it a quick left tap and tested to see what would happen, only realised last week to be honest,

There's no setting in vida as far as I know. I think a CFE+ can do it.
