Fantasy Option List

I'm not sure if this has been done, I couldn't find a similar thread using the search facility. If I'm wrong please let me know.

My thought is this: If Volvo asked it's customers for ideas to improve the XC90, what options would you like to see in the brochure. Give me your ideas; you never know who may be watching this!

I'll start things off.

1. Air suspension
2. A simple "terrain response system" (for snow mainly.)
3. Full length panoramic glass roof.

a Wife/partner mute function for the passenger seat ?

but seriously... it's got a fair whack of ground clearance, I think they should have a 'handling' option that's a good 30-40mm lower than the standard one, most suv owners don't go off-road aside from grass fields etc.. anyway.

A terrain response would be awesome! It's just not that kind of vehicle. The new multi-mode awd on the new Touareg/Cayenne would be enough, don't need low range.

Now that blueteeth (

) are available, i'd like the new tech toys: adaptive cruise to pedestrian detection to auto brake.

Keyless entry and start/stop.

Seriously, not much - they should focus on getting the quality and reliability up there with the best.

Some trim parts and seats for example do not wear as well as you would expect for a "quality" vehicle. That does not sell new cars however - so what about a 7 year unconditional warranty?

A 'Quick Clear' windscreen and 'Satellite Internet Radio' would be very nice options.

Oh, and some type of enemy driver defense system that neutralise's the w**kers that you get on the road!

I would like:
* panaromic glass roof
* keyless entry
* integrated booster seats on more than the middle of 2nd row
* more interesting colours because the xc90 ones are BORING
* digital radio
* better warranty and breakdown cover to match length of warranty

just a small list then......not

A heated steering wheel, digital radio, updated colour screen for the ipod/radio/phone etc. and led front lights.
