But it is coupés that will be the big fashion accessory of 2005. Audi replaces its TT, a car more popular here than anywhere else in the world, and BMW introduces the M6 which, if it can build on the M5, should be one of the best drives of the year. Peugeot will introduce the new 407 coupé and Volvo will spin a coupé off its mid-size V50 platform.

Rumour is that the new S40/V50 based coupe will be badged C70....
