XC90 2005 Rear trailing arm bushes!!!
Hi all, just wondering if you could help me, I need to replace the rear trailing arm bushes on my XC90 2005, I’ve seen a really good post regarding this and is using poly bushes. Does anyone know where to get these or a link to a part number. The only ones I can find are standard press in ones and they are a pain to fit!

You should be aware that the poly bushes transmit a lot more noise/vibration.
If you decide not to use them the best option is to replace the whole wishbone complete with bushes fitted. Only use genuine Volvo parts.

This is the original thread.
Thanks for the link but as you can see it doesn’t show the rear suspension https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showt...errerid=164210 |

Yes!! Brilliant thanks Harley Dave! How did you find that? I typed in everything and didn’t come close? Or is it used on a different model that uses the same components

Thanks, I know this sounds silly, so I assume then the XC90 shares the same suspension components and bushes as the xc70/s60/etc. . . . Or is it just certain parts?

It seems like the S60 uses the same bushes in the same function Cheers Dave |

I poly bushed both bushes on my wife's xc90 earlier in the winter. I can't say I noticed any negative effects. They replaced Meyle bushes that were beginning to deteriorate.
I poly bushed my series 1 S80 a few years ago which has similar wishbone set up to the xc90 and again no negative effects. The steering feel and turn in was much sharper and less wooly on the S80.
