Sorry for the confusion, just to make it simplier. here goes.

1. My existing set-up is B230K engine with a B230FT head on a solex cisac carb.
2. I was able to source pistons that came from a B230FT engine. This is the reason why I was asking for technical advise as to how to upgrade my B230K into a full pledge B230FT engine. With complications on the electrical system and some conversions per your advise, I had some apprehensions.
3. Unfortunately, the source of the FT parts only advised me recently that the donor engine is a B21FT and not a B230FT.
4. Per your advise, if I do decide on the conversion, it should come from a running B230FT engine so as to minimize margins for error and for easy troubleshooting.
5. With all these concerns taken into consideration, I want to find out if changing the K pistons with the FT pistons will improve my CR. Item no. 6 in your last email answers my question, thank you for this.

As soon as I change the pistons, I will let you know. The installation of the penta dual intake manifold will be my next project. I will keep you posted.
