Default DTC ‘s Read Using New Vida Dice Setup

Firstly thanks to cheshired5 for supply of full Vida dice laptop setup. Great service! Thanks Simon.

Plugged in the dice to my ‘new’ xc90 2004 D5 auto 86k miles and the following codes have reappeared after clearing

BCM 0094
BCM 0114
CCM 0007
CCM 0021
CEM 1A64
ICM 1A02
UEM 0004

Having studied the Vida software and car symptoms am I correct in assuming that I am probably going to need toeither fix or repair the following?

1. Haldex unit
2. Yaw sensor
3. Cabin Temp sensor
4. Air quality sensor
5. Siren battery.

Any comments or thoughts on the above are greatly appreciated. There is the usual anti skid service message, the alarm doesn’t work and the infotainment system has lost some of the functionality of the buttons.

TBH I reckon that this is not too bad given age of the car.

2. Yaw sensor
Remove and inspect for water damage and corrosion. Is underneath amplifier and first unit to fail when water gets inside the vehicle.

3. Cabin Temp sensor
Is inside CCM module and is often damaged by owners who think it is a piece of fluff. It's a thermistor. Fit one from a donor CCM.

4. Air quality sensor
Often fails, many people ignore it. The AQS has a finite lifespan and controls the auto inside/outside air function
On older cars you can get cheap equivalents.

5. Siren battery.
These have a finite life and often fail at 10 years old.
Sometimes you can replace the battery. Sometimes you have to replace the entire siren if the battery has leaked and corrosion exists

Thanks SwissXC90 for reply.
On the subject of the probable faulty Haldex unit Vida suggests checking power supply first as its registering as not functioning.
I have checked the requisite fuse in the rear compartment and found a 15a fuse in working order but my manual states it should be a 7.5a fuse. Looks like someone may have tried to resolve a previous issue by upping the fuse. Vida suggests checking fuse in the engine compartment? Is there any other fuses in the engine compartment that feed the rear that I should be checking first before starting to replace the Haldex and or the pump unit?

Fuse 11E/1 feeds the REM

The REM then feeds the DEM with fuses F27 and F23
On a MY2009

Power is on pin 1 of the DEM connector, measure it!
Ground is pins 2 and 4.
CAN bus is pins 7 & 8
If DEM has power and ground and won't talk to the rest of the car, it is likely damaged through corrosion.
Get it repaired or replaced.
