Thanks for the replies guys. Sorry for my delayed posting but dont have internet at my new house yet so relying on slow phone connection. Just found out I would need to borrow a phase 1 MAF as they are calibrated differently to the phase 2 and would cause problems. My MTE map is calibrated using the phase 1 maf too. Anyone willing to lend? Promise I'll be careful with it :-)

Just been looking through my usual stock pile of interesting pieces that i save and i found this.

Note: The MAF and O2 sensors work as two parts of the same system. The MAF determines the base mixture for the given conditions and the O2 sensor checks to determine whether it is correct (many times a second) by determining the amount of O2 in the exhaust.
If the O2 sensor isn't working correctly then it can cause the MAF to go out of range

It MAY apply to you as from previous posts of yours i believe you stated that you do not have the proper part number Volvo O2 sensors.
Although you said they work they may now be giving problems?

It may help, it may not......but it gives you another option to try and correct your problem as you say you are running out of ideas!!

Cheers Keith. I will look into this as I datalogged what the lambdas were doing and they both seemed to stick at 9.2 volts then both radomly go to 0.2? But nowt inbetween. Thought this might be irratic. Seems strange to both go at the same time. I have no codes but worth a try. At present my front lambda is Volvo and rear is NTK I think. I have 2 gen volvo spares from my old downpipe in the garage. Ill swap them 1 by one and see if I can solve anything this way.

9.2V??How?They work with 5.0v reference voltage.
0.2 is fine when you roll in gear.

I just read somewhere that anything between 2-9v is ok. I don't know tbh but it looks like mine may be cream crackered.

Did you get my PM Dan?

Also Slevin, sorry I meant 0.92V down to 0.2V. The O2 sensor reference voltage is definitely 0-1V.
