Default Lovely 940 GLE Turbo

Hello from a newbie, I live in the Stockport area and have joined the forum as I hope to buy a Volvo estate. I'm restricting myself to 7/9 series or possibly a 2 series. In truth I want the car as a workhorse and it will have to earn it's keep and live outdoors..... which is why I want a Volvo in the first place.

While looking locally, I came across a fabulous 1994 940 GLE Turbo estate in metallic red with a beige leather interior. This car is fabulous, in fact it's probably far too good for what I want the car for. If anyone is interested, look at www.grangegaragecheadle.co.uk and you'll find it on page 3 of their stocklist. ( The pics do not do it justice ) I've driven the car today and cannot fault it. Everything works and looks original. It may be 1994 but it would stand comparison with a five year old car easily. I'd love this car, and may indeed change my mind and have it, but this car needs to go to one of you enthusiasts out there and I'll stick with a more 'used' example. They are asking £1499 which is a lot, but it does reflect the condition.

I must add that I'm nothing to do with this business, but I've bought from them previously and have been satisfied.

PS This was my first drive of a 940... boy are they comfortable!

That is indeed a nice motor, I've got a 940 Celebration I'll be looking to shift but you're up north and I'm in London so probably too far
