Default LH2.4 no spark question/240 turbo conversion

Hello all,
Can anyone help with a bit of a baffler here?
The car is a 240 with a late 92 LH loom, all parts from one donor inc the flywheel, except both Turbo ECUS/AMM/resistor pack from a 1991 945 200FT.
On cranking there is no spark, as soon as key is released there is a lovely fat spark. Also briefly when ignition on but not cranking. Have tried another power stage, checked through all wires from LH and EZK ecus and checked all the earths I can find.
Getting a bit puzzled, any ideas?
My hunch is TDC sensor but the resistance checks out ok and it worked ok in the donor car.
Thanks, Jim

Hot wiring the blue feed to the coil results in a good spark on cranking, so is switch as possible culprit?Tried another contact pack and now have good cranking spark-but not starting, so Injectors next.
